Spice Race Postponed.
After meeting with Class 40 racers, both here and in Le Trinité, France over the weekend, the Royal Southampton Yacht Club and "Spice Race" promoter, Tony Lawson, have agreed to postpone the start of the 4321 mile race from the Solent to St Georges, Grenada, until November 2009.

Crew needed!
Spice Race have had many enquiries for boats wanting to enter the Spice Race, but many need enthusiastic and capable crew who are able to contribute to the race. Amongst the boats needing crew is Open 60, Max Havelaar which competed in the last Vendee Globe and several Class 40s.

Having worked through many CVs and applications to be part of the Girls Team to sail on board ‘Concise’ Class 40 in the Spice Race, the Organisers have drawn up a short list.
